Privacy Policy

The Truly Simple (“we”, “us”) runs thetrulysimple.com. We are based at No 11, Thanthai Periyar Kudil, Kolathur, Chennai - 600099, TN, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

When you place an order — your name, phone number, delivery address, the items you ordered, the order total, and (optionally) a screenshot of your UPI payment. We use this only to confirm your payment, pack and deliver your order, and handle any exchange.

Payments — you pay through your own UPI app. We never see or store your bank, card, or UPI PIN details. We only see the payment screenshot if you choose to upload it.

When you contact us — the contact form opens your own email app, and WhatsApp chats happen in WhatsApp. We receive whatever you choose to send, and use it to reply.

Email sign-ups — if you join our list, we use your email address only to tell you about new drops. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Courier partners, who need your name, phone, and address to deliver.
• Our hosting and database providers (Netlify and Supabase), which store the website and order records on our behalf.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to send your order details to us there — governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

We don't use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. The site stores a few things in your own browser so it works as expected: your cart, your wishlist, your light/dark theme choice, and whether you've already seen our sign-up pop-up. This stays on your device, isn't used to track you, and you can clear it anytime from your browser settings.

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle exchanges, and meet our tax and legal record-keeping obligations, and then delete them.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or raise a concern about how we've handled it. Email thetrulysimpletees@gmail.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.

Our site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and order records are accessible only to our team. No method of storing data online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.

Our site isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
